A few words from the Mayor

"2009 had proved to be a very difficult year economically for Edgewater Park as well as many other cities and towns in NJ and the entire country. We have weathered the storm of 09’ and are prepared to weather the storm of 2010.  Through adversity and the lack of funding we were still able to enjoy many of the services that initially township committee thought might have to be discontinued. We also saw the return of Community Day this past fall and anticipate this to be an annual event.

In January of last year we began rebuilding our Neighborhood Watch Program. The first meeting was attended by about 20 residents. Our last meeting in November had an attendance of over 60 residents. Over the course of the year we have offered presentations that are informative and directly related to issues and concerns that we have experienced in our town. Neighborhood Watch has also been working very closely with the Recreation Committee in order to continue programs and services that were in jeopardy, as well as fundraise for the return of Edgewater Park’s participation in the annual Memorial Day Parade. I would like to thank everyone involved on those committees for their assistance over the past year and look forward to working with you again in 2010. With your continued support and patience, I feel we can end 2010 as a better and stronger community".

Edgewater Park Democratic Team
The Edgewater Park Democratic Team includes representatives from each of Edgewater Park's Eight Districts.

The last seven years have been some the most productive in the township's history. Business ratables have gone up and roads and services have improved. We need to build on this foundation of successful township management and accomplishments. We need to elect Aimee Belgard, Esq. and John McElwee to maintain the positive momentum and successful plans we already have in progress.
